The new automated photo removal system is up and running and will now run more frequently than in the past.  The new system is looking for pix that are <20k in size and rated less than 5 and pix that are overall rated low (compared to the distribution of ratings in the system) with over 1000 views.

The system also does take into account when the photo was uploaded so will not adjust your points balance unless the pic was uploaded after the new site went live (11/23/08).

The system will also kick out an email to let you know the action has taken place and a notice looks like the following:

This report does not include duplicates as those are handled much more frequently and I don't want to overload people with emails.

Please feel free to comment on the criteria or if you feel the system is getting too agressive (not agressive enough in weeding out pix that are just not working).
