Feel free to create new Groups for any special interests you may want to connect with other users about. Just no illegal or copyrighted material but otherwise feel free to have at it! If you find the existing categories don't capture the group you're considering creating, just ask, I'll be happy to create one for you.
If you have any questions about creating or starting a group, feel free to ask.
Just a few things as a follow up to the groups. * The groups are NOT intended to be a replacement for the gallery. There is no voting, views counted, comments, points awarded, etc. * For the owners of the groups. It is your responsibility to keep copyrighted material out of your groups. If you are unable or unwilling to moderate your group, please don't create it. * For the photo-oriented groups (which is nearly all of them so far), I will periodically check them and if I see enough members supporting that group, I will consider adding a category to the gallery. * I'm trying to leave the groups as an area to express yourselves but please guys, let's be responsible about this. Some of the groups are great so far, a few are pushing it and one or two are already way over. Not naming names or groups, but moderators and posters, please review your postings and remove any copyrighted material.
