I HAVE WRITING THE WEBMASTER FOR INFORMATION, BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLY.   ALL  I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT THIS GROUP SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN ABSORBED INTO THE SITE GALLERY AND CALLED  A SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP.  THE PICS FROM OUR GROUP SITE SEEM TO HAVE BEEN LOST.  I AM LISTED AS THE MODERATOR, BUT APPARENTLY ANY USER CAN ALSO MODERATE THE NEW SITE.  I KNEW NOTHING OF ANY OF THIS.

PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, I HAVE CREATED A NEW GROUP (FOR US) CALLED  "JUST PECS".   I HOPE ALL OF YOU WILL RESEND YOUR PICS AND TRANSFER YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO THIS NEW GROUP.

I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CONFUSION WITH THIS.  I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM THE SITE FOR TWO WEEKS AND JUST RETURNED.

OKAY, since apparently my email to the moderators was not clear (below).

   --- PHOTO GALLERY GROUPS ARE NOW TO BE IN THE PHOTO GALLERY

         --- EXISTING ONES HAVE ALREADY BEEN CREATED WITHIN "SPECIAL INTERESTED/USER MODERATED"

         --- PECS / UPPER TORSO IS NOW "PECS/CHEST moderated by rbrown001" which it's been for 2 weeks.

         --- FOR A NEW ONE ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ASK AND TELL ME WHO THE MODERATOR(S) IS(ARE).

Guys, Before the group galleries start getting out of hand, I've decided to do the following which I think (hope) will please everyone. For groups that have been created where the primary purpose appears to be posting photos, I'm re-creating those in sub-categories of a new "Special Interests" photo category and making the current owner the moderator for that sub-category. This way, we'll have all the photos and videos where they properly belong -- in the gallery and you can use all the moderator tools that come with the 'real' gallery --- comments, votes, report notices, duplicate detection, points, etc. All I ask is that you move your photos (or just the ones you want) over when you see the new sub-category appear and then tell me when I can remove the existing group. OR, if you want to keep the Group as a discussion forum, maybe we can just turn off the gallery part of the group. Thanks, M
