When guys write stories, I know they are just fantasizing about something they find hot.

Good enough, but  I wish they good just learn to write a little better.

I see so many stories that begin: "It was another hot summer’s day ..." or something of the sort.

Such prose is very similar to the opening line, made famous by Snoopy in Peanuts years ago,

"It was a dark and stormy night ..."

This quotation is actually the opening line from a novel by Edward George Bulwer-Lytton, "Paul Clifford" (1830).

There is a whole website that makes fun of this opening line and sponsors an annual contest to see who can write equally badly.

Check it out: http://www.bulwer-lytton.com/, the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest, "where www means 'wretched writers welcome' "  :) Its kinda funny.

Ok, erotic writing, er ... porn,  is not meant to be great fiction, but when I see a story that starts with a phrase like "I showered and washed everything well.",

I can't help but think, uh oh, another here's another "Its a dark and stormy night and I was horny as hell" story.

OK ... I've spent a few such stormy nights.  Wonder what Snoopy would write if he wrote a hot story.

Think I should give it a try?
