I have been going over older photos and had gotten to something like 2000. How can I return to older pages without bookmarking them?

return to page older pages

James,
Someone else had asked for a new featuer that will let you jump directly to a certain page rather than using the existing gallery. When the gallery was first developed, I don't think we envisioned having literally thousands of pages and so I thought this was a great suggestion. It is on my list and you should see this introduced in the next few weeks at the latest.
Thanks,
Michael
Mike, I guess I forgot to mention that I was bookmarking the page 2000 (for example) and using it as an entry path. I was able to accomplish that with the former setup. The new setup doen't seem to allow that. Jim
James, for the moment, kind of a cheat is, looking up at the URL when you're on a particular page, you'll see &page=xx appended at the end. You can change that number to get to page whatever you like. I'll have a more elegant solution for you guys soon.
Tks
Michael

James,
I've put in a change where within a category, you can see (yellow box on right hand side) what page you're on currently as well as directly enter in a new page number to jump to. Is this what you had in mind as a quick jump to older pages? Thanks, Michael
Michael, that is wonderful. It is exactly what I wanted. I think now all the pictures from the past will be more available for the members to go back and enjoy. New members can see more of the thousands of earlier pictures that they originally didn't enjoy. Us older members can go back and see the page's again. You are very responsive and it is greatly appreciated. I'm impressed! Jim
Jim,
Great glad this is what you were looking for. Great suggestion and it turned out to be quite easy to implement. Thanks again for suggesting this!
